Buying is the line that stops climbing: three years in it's under a third of the subscription, and the gap only widens.

$11.50 for Individual, $39.90 for Teams, stopped whenever you like — the licence runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
No, and we'd rather say so plainly. When you stop renewing, new clips stop; exporting what you've already made stays open. Thirteen months of rent equals buying on Individual, ten on Teams. Buy at any time and the rental stops that day — rent already paid isn't credited.
One machine with Ariloop activated on it. A seat isn't tied to a person — an editor with a desktop and a laptop uses two. Release either from Devices and it's free immediately.
No — it's free on every licence. The upload runs from your machine to your bucket or drive with credentials you enter, so it costs us nothing and we never hold a copy.
Every release inside the major version you bought: buy at 3.0 and 3.1 through 3.8 are yours as they ship, free and with no deadline. A 4.0 would be a separate licence at a holder's price, and your 3.x keeps working whether or not you take it.
Yes. Bought, you pay the difference, never the full price twice. Renting, the rate changes from the next month. Everything carries over either way.
Card or invoice. Teams can be bought against a purchase order — procurement usually prefers one line item — or rented month to month.
14 days on outright purchases, no questions. Rentals can be cancelled any time and simply end at the close of the paid term.
